STILTON BURGERS A variation on the traditional hamburger, this tasty recipe contains a delicious surprise: a creamy filling of lightly melted Stilton cheese.
INGREDIENTS 1. Mix the ground beef with the chopped onion, celery, mixed herbs and mustard. Season well with salt and pepper, and bring together with your hands to form a firm mixture. 2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions. Shape 4 portions into rounds and flatten each one slightly. Place a little of the crumbled cheese in the center of each round. 3. Shape and flatten the remaining four portions and place on top. Use your hands to mold the rounds together, encasing the crumbled cheese and shaping them into four burgers. 4. Cook on a medium grill for about 10 minutes or until cooked through, turning once. Split the hamburger buns and place a burger inside each one. Serve with salad and mustard pickle.
