Barbecue (BBQ) Salad Recipes
Cool salads are a perfect foil to grilled food, but they should have assertive characters of their own. The recipes that follow include some marvellous sunny, Mediterranean flavors that taste especially good on summer days, and a selection of them would be perfect as part of a buffet for a party. Don’t forget that you can use the grill to broil ingredients such as tomatoes, bell peppers, eggplant and radicchio — it will give them an intense, smoky flavor that will pervade the whole salad.
